Piston type Drain Valves

The UPV Soft Seal design is a dead space free reactor outlet valve. When opening the piston retracts completely into the valve body. This provides an unrestricted full flow. In combination with our maximized port sizes this design offers maximum flow capacity. The valve is available with a wide choice of options such as metallurgy, actuators and dead space free connections to vessels. Other possible features are multi piston positioning for reactor sampling and draining through the same vessel outlet. Typical application: Draining, sampling and injection for powder, slurry and suspension product. The Soft Seal piston valve is frequently used in PVC processes.
