1986 – MG Industries is founded by two French partners.
1992 – MG Industries moves into a larger building in St Alban Leysse, France.
1992 – Name change to MG-Fetterolf after acquisition by Fetterolf USA.
1998 – MG-Fetterolf moves into a new constructed building in
Mery, France.
2000 – Original French founders acquire the company from Fetterolf Corp. USA. Name is changed to MG Process Valves.
2004 – Strahman Valves Inc USA, founded in 1921 acquires MG Process Valves. Name is changed to Strahman Valves France.


2013 – CID Capital partners, an Indianapolis USA based private equity firm, acquires Strahman Valves Inc. USA including Strahman Valves France.
Feb 2019 – Strahman Valves France acquires MGS in Vaux-Sous-Aubigny. Name of this add on company becomes Strahman MGS.
June 2023 – the Strahman Valves France management team acquires 100% of the shares of the Strahman Valves France and Strahman MGS.
June 2023 – the Strahman Valves France management team acquires 100% of the shares of the Strahman Valves France and Strahman MGS.
Strahman Valves France become Strahman United Process Valves.
During 2026 we complete our company name transition.
Strahman United Process Valves becomes United Process Valves. Strahman MGS becomes MGS-UPV.
