They combine 100% positive shut-off with very quick actuation and avoid the timeconsuming changes of standard spectacle plates.
UPV Line blinds are available with a wide choice of options such as metallurgy, sealing arrangements and connections. Most types offer a design where pipe spreading to change the spectacle plate is not longer required. They are suitable for high temperature service and meet the API 607 rev. 4 fire safe standards.
